Work Experience:

I am retired and work some time as a guest professor at  Intelligence Engineering and Mathematics Institute, Liaoning Technical University;

I used to be an associate professor at School of Computer Engineering and Applied Mathematics, Changsha University. I also worked several years as an investment consultant and later as a fund manager.

Education:

1977–1982: Nanjing Aeronautic Institute (i.e. Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics) ,  Nanjing, P.R.China.

1987-1988: Trained for Computer Applications in Niagara College,  Welland, Canada.

1990-1991: Studied as a visiting Scholar at Mathematics Department of Beijing Normal University (Learnt Fuzzy math and AI; Guiders: Peizhuang Wang and Chengzhong Luo).

Research Interests:

semantic (or generalized) information theory with  philosophy of science and statistical learning, color vision with analyzing philosophy, aesthetics with evolutionism, and portfolio.
